Power supply solutions for up to 4 servo drives
The TP and TPDC input units are in-between boxes designed for up to 4 TSD series servo drives and perform the following tasks:
- Rectification and inrush current limitation (TP only)
- Mains filter class C3 (TP only)
- Phase failure detection (TP only with option 3PH)
- Smoothing of the input voltage
- Brake chopper with internal resistor or version for external resistor
TP: 3-phase supply is recommended. A 1-phase supply is also possible, but leads to increased ripple of the DC bus at medium to high loads. Alternatively, a DC supply can be used. The TP power supplies are available for four different output voltages.
TPDC: Supply with commercially available DC power supply (see AN144 Grounding Instructions). The TPDC input units are available for three different output voltages.
