Technology
The constantly increasing requirements for productivity and accuracy present new challenges for drive systems. Mechanical vibrations and system robustness impose limitations that must be overcome. Triamec servo drives with 100 kHz control surpass previous limitations and offer exceptional solutions to these technological challenges.
Technological challenges
Highly dynamic mechanisms, high-friction systems, fast millisecond processes, and superior noise suppression require advanced control solutions that go beyond standard drives.
100 kHz control
This is four to ten times faster than conventional drives. It minimizes dead time, reduces control deviations by a factor of ten, and actively dampens vibrations for the highest precision.
Path planning
Generates target data at 10 kHz. Truly jerk-limited and reprogrammable in 100 µs. It enables sensor-controlled processes in milliseconds and micrometers.
Continuous Auto-Calibration
Automatically eliminates sin/cos encoder ellipse errors at 100 kHz intervals. It compensates for alignment, temperature, and aging effects without user interaction.
3-Level 100kHz PWM
The high switching frequency greatly reduces motor power dissipation. This results in smoother operation, reduced current ripple, and excellent control performance.
Tria-Link and Observer
The 10 kHz real-time fieldbus with 200 Mbps enables motion data transmission with full path planning quality. Observer mode allows for non-invasive system inspection.
Sinus and Common-Mode Filters
The two-stage filtering system eliminates motor stress and bearing damage while ensuring EMC compliance in demanding applications with differential and common-mode suppression.
